Rowena Foulds
I started my dancing life around aged 3 when I started at Carol May’s Academy. I danced in Ballet, Tap and Modern classes for many years with Carol and Jess, before moving on to dance A-level and at university. Once I had sadly moved on from CMA, I studied A-level Dance at Cardinal Newman College. Whilst at college I was also a part of the presitious youth dance company, Ludus Youth Dance Company. Whilst at college and with LYDC, I really found my love for contemporary dance and knew this was what I wanted to do. I chose to study dance at degree level, and in 2017 I received my BA(Hons) in Contemporary dance from Edge Hill University. Whilst studying at degree level I also trained in many genres of dance including African, Capoiera, Dance Theatre and received training in aerial circus too, from Wired Aerial Theatre, who are an internationally renowned aerial circus and dance theatre company based in Liverpool.
