Pauline Sandell - Office Secretary

​Pauline initially became part of the Carol May family when her daughter, Laura started dancing at Miss Carol’s in 2007.  Pauline worked for the NHS for 27 years in various administrative roles in Blackpool, Wesham, Preston, Leyland and Ormskirk.  Her roles have included administrative support in the Public Health Department and Community Health Council and as Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Health Authority.  After the birth of Laura, Pauline worked part-time as Personal Assistant to one of the Public Health Consultants and then as an Individual Patient Funding Officer in Preston.  She finished her career in the NHS as a Project Management Assistant working with West Lancashire GPs on new ways of providing NHS services.  Pauline started work as one of the Secretaries at Carol May’s Academy in 2013 and enjoys meeting the parents and children, the variety of the role and working with such wonderful colleagues in a friendly, family-run business.
