Emma Ballantyne
I attended Carol May School of Dance for 5 years before moving to Manchester and then London to further my dance career at 2 top dance colleges.
I was very lucky to get various opportunities while at college such as working with top choreographers, west end stars and tv personalities.
I got to dance at Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup Final opening ceremony in 2015, which was the most incredible, surreal experience.
I then got to dance on a West End stage every year for my end of year show.
When I left college I ended up taking more of the acting route and featured in The Only Way is Essex, a small feature film and a commercial for Cosmopolitan Magazine.
I’m so grateful for the foundations Carol May’s gave me, to go out and do what I did and I will always remember the great friendships, hard work and rewards it gave me.
